Inspired by the sculptural work of Barbara Hepworth, the Two Figures Earrings explore the relationship between form, space, and connection. Hand-carved in wax before being cast in precious metal, the design draws on ideas of organic abstraction and the expressive potential of negative space.

Defined by deliberate asymmetry, each pair comprises two distinct forms that exist in conversation with one another. While each earring possesses its own character, together they create a harmonious composition shaped by balance, contrast, and proportion.

Open voids within the forms invite light to pass through and around the earrings, creating a sculptural interplay between presence and absence. The result is a contemporary and wearable interpretation of the relationship between individual forms that was central to much of Hepworth's work.

Available in sterling silver or 9 carat yellow gold.

Each piece in this collection begins as a hand-carved wax model, created by me in my Sydney studio. Once your order is placed, the earrings are cast by reputable Australian casters using Australian-sourced precious metals, then carefully hand-finished by me.
